TFC is awarded £86,240 for Easter food and fun
We are thrilled to have been awarded a grant of £86,240 from the Warwickshire County Council to support children who are on free school meals with fun activity packs and food hampers. The grant is part of their Holiday Activities and Food programme, which will also run in the summer and at Christmas time.
The hampers and activity packs will be delivered in key areas across Warwickshire during the run up to Easter through our key projects Transforming Communities Together Warwick and Saints Nuneaton, as well as through TFC Family link workers in Warwickshire.
The food hampers will be healthy and nutritious, with frozen meat products and fresh farm grown vegetables, working in partnership with Your Farmer Meals. Your Farmer use traditional and high welfare farming practices, and all of their livestock are free range – and it shows in the quality of food that they produce!
Activity packs aim to focus on having fun at home and outdoors, with an extra Easter treat for each child.
