Summer fun on the Fresh Start beach trip
Some of the attendees of the ESOL Classes and Fresh Start Football went on a trip to Weston-Super-Mare along with Fresh Start Co-ordinator Matt Robinson.
The sun was shining down on the group of 13 asylum seekers and refugees as they spent the afternoon on the beach. They enjoyed fish and chips, fought off ravenous seagulls, had a swim in the sea and played a lot of beach football!
One Eritrean man said “Thank you so much for everything – it was an amazing day”, whilst one of the boys from Sudan said “Thank you so much, it’s been a very special day. I’ve never had a day like this since I’ve been in England.”
